Dr. Erin Johnas

Pelvic Health Therapist

Licensed Physical Therapist (PT)

Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)

Her Story

Erin Johnas PT, DPT, earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from Quinnipiac University and has specialized in pelvic health since the beginning of her career. A committed lifelong learner, she has completed extensive continuing education across a range of topics—from complex pelvic pain conditions like interstitial cystitis and pudendal neuralgia to movement-based approaches such as strength training, yoga, and return-to-running programs. She has a particular love for biomechanics and the integration of the body as a dynamic, breathing, and connected system.

A proud birth nerd, Erin has also completed advanced coursework in pregnancy and postpartum care through the Institute for Birth Healing. She views birth as a profound rite of passage with deep physical, emotional, and spiritual significance. Her broad clinical background allows her to support each patient through a holistic, individualized lens—meeting them with both compassion and expertise.

In practice, Erin partners closely with her patients, blending hands-on techniques, functional movement, dry needling, and lifestyle strategies. Her work is grounded in the belief that the body’s systems are deeply interconnected. She emphasizes the power of education, nervous system regulation, and honoring the body’s natural rhythms to support true, lasting healing.

Outside the clinic, Erin feels most at home in nature. Whether she’s skiing, hiking, or chasing chickens around the yard with her husband and daughter, she finds joy in the seasonality and simple rhythms of life in New England.
